Glock 23c Restoration and Customization
Last week, a great customer of ours came into the shop with a Glock 23C that he bought on the cheap due to its less-than-desirable condition. He was thinking about adding an extended slide release; thankfully we have the Glock factory extended slide release on one of our shop guns, so we were able to decide exactly what he wanted before we ordered in replacement parts.
Another upgrade he decided to make was to step up to the steel factory Glock rear sight from the standard plastic sight that came on the gun, adding durability to the gun and rigidity to his pistol’s accuracy.
After the small, but effective, upgrades were made, the slide, frame, and magazine were all painted with Cerakote’s Desert Sand. This provides a brighter looking gun with great contrast against the blued steel and black polymer parts.
